Nutrition Love
I have finally gotten done with my study session so dinner was late no light so I could not get a pic. I am at a much better place with my diet and I am hoping to finally be at a size that I am ok with… I have struggled with weight for years but with proper education of nutrition last year, I can say it is easier for me to estimate a number of calories I eat a day without even counting… I am busy, busy, and super busy I cannot wait to be done with midterms this week so I can get in the groove of things… I have been obsessed with smoothies lately I guess the warm weather can do that to ya! It’s been in the 80’s!!! I am so loving it can’t wait for summer 110 baby 🙂
Lunch Bust
I took one of my midterm tests today so I did not have time to post most of my meals. I did not have time to eat while I was testing so I miss my eating schedule and by the time I was done with the test I was starving… I decided to get a turkey burger from Carl’s Jr. no-mayo and a side salad no cheeses or dressing. I looked up the calorie content when I got home and it was around 490 calories very high in sodium… I guess it was one of those meals that you think are healthy but it’s not, well you live and you learn… Next time I end up in a fast food joint from hunger pains I will get a salad no dressing, and I will not feel guilty about it. I guess this has been a crazy week with midterms my food take has been all weird, but at least I do continue to eat breakfast. I am having more fruit late at night I cannot wait for midterms to be over…
What I ate Midterm Week: Monday
I am finally out of the 2’s this week I was so excited I decided to take a break from my midterms and shared a Chipotle burrito with my country boy, and no I did not have a crazy food party for the whole weekend. I had just one meal that I have been craving for a while with those chips they make! Gosh those chips are sooo good…. My weight has been fluctuating a little bit I am learning how to read the numbers in the scale, yes there is a technique and I will teach it to ya once I have got it down… I am back on eating and studying for today, and I am taking one of my midterm test tomorrow…
What I ate Friday Mid Term Study Week
It rained all day today and the sun played pick a boo all day, so the pictures I have are a result of that. Gosh being in school and trying to eat right takes some dedication I will tell you, because there are times when chips are calling my name but I go for the fruit instead. I did have peanut butter and three dates with my six rice cakes, I had sweet potato and boil egg for lunch. I also had chicken noodle soup, another boil egg, and sauteed spinach and garlic dinner. I am ready to take a break from studying tomorrow and I am back at it Sunday…
What I ate Thursday Mid Term Study Week
Wow I spent seven hours today trying to find a calculator instead of studying for chemistry, I am so obsessed. I have had the wrong calculator for about 8 weeks and of course I wait a week before midterms to figure out that I need a new one. Well I forgot to post the three medjool dates I ate, the tablespoon of peanut-butter, six rice cakes, and my chicken sandwich from the leftover chicken yesterday. I am thinking about doing a smoothie challenge pretty soon let me know if you have any request 🙂
What I ate Wednesday Mid Term Study Week
Oh Studying is kicking my big but :). Luckily I pack all my meals and I am never hungry. I am getting up early in the morning just to make protein pancakes, I am so addicted that I will take 10 minutes just to make them and stuff my face with them in less then 60 seconds. I think it’s worth it if I get to eat pancakes every morning and not feel guilty about it.. I forgot to post my dinner chicken, corn and frozen string beans…

Midterm Week Slip-up
Gosh I had a slip up at a vending machine; of course I have no excuse as to why I wanted that bag of chips but I could not help myself. Midterms are coming up soon and all I can think about is cheesecake; this is why I gain weight I do well and then when midterms and finals come up I and I get really bad anxiety, I emotionally eat everything that makes me happy but not so healthy. I am going to do a What I ate Midterm Week. I have midterm studying this week and midterms next week. With so much late night studying to do and I want a snickers bar, but I am going to make myself accountable so I do not go on a late night taco bell binge. I guess I am going to half to invest in a lunch bag, so I will not stray from my goals. Because this year I will say good bye to spandex!
