Week 2 : Friday Meals

I know portion control but I have been having trouble with it lately, so this weekend and next week I am going to try to work on the amounts of food I eat. Since I have stated what I ate February I have notice that my portions are extremely huge on certain foods( oatmeal), that now it is time watch how much I eat instead of what I eat.

Week 2: Thursday Meals

My Medjool dates finally came today yay!!! I ate 7 I could not help myself they are so good but high in sugar; I guess I better not get out of control with this box of dates I may start to look like one. I am going to limit my intake to 2 a day maybe 4 if I am good..

I miss eating yogurt, but I have been finding other things to kill my hunger; I have start eating lots of grapefruit citrus fruit is plentiful in the winter time here so they are falling of the trees. I am hoping to find some white grape fruits but I am enjoying the pink ones just fine…

Week 2 Tuesday Meals

What a day from all the studying, trying to eat healthy, workout, and photograph my food I guess I can say I am learning to manage time. This week I decided to lay off the yogurt, I’m lactose intolerant so I can’t have dairy. I started eating yogurt again and I was doing fine for a while, but lately I have been feeling sick. I don’t think it is the yogurt I will half to wait and see, but if I get any flare ups next week I am going to half to find a new snack to get me through the day. Today I did not have as many meals as I normally do I have been drinking a lot of coconut water so it has been keeping me full a little longer…

I am so happy I tried on a dress that I bought a year ago and it did not fit when I bought it, well I tried it on today and it actually fit! I was so excited that it fit. I guess I am happy with the changes I have made to my diet they are paying off. I had a busy yesterday so I could not post most of my meals, and I woke up pretty late today so I had a simple breakfast and my snack was some yogurt.

It’s Friday!!!!!! Last night I had a Portobello mushroom burger and yogurt it was good!!! I guess I didn’t need the extra barbecue sauce. I am happy I gave the mushrooms a chance I was always put off by how big they were but they are not so bad… I should have taken a pic but the sun left and I didn’t want to use flash, I guess I will start having to use flash just to get my dinner pic in… I have no clue what lunch will be I don’t have any leftovers I am going to figure something out..

Today I ate leftovers for lunch and I was not hungry so I had a light snack before I eat dinner.. I am going to make portobello mushroom burgers I hope they are good; if not I will just pile barbecue sauce on them and call it a night. 🙂

Thursday Meal 1,2, and Wenesday Snacks

I guess pulling in all-niter can be very detrimental to my workout schedule; I didn’t get my morning yoga in so I am going to half to work it out tomorrow. Other than not being able to work out today; yesterday I found a new snack that if I could I would eat it every day all day gosh!! Peanut butter on dates are the bomb I tell ya!! If you have not tried it please go get you some fresh dates and slab peanut butter on top and enjoy a little piece of sanity. 🙂

Wenesday: Meal 1, 2, and 3

Gosh spring is almost here I am so excited for spring break, no classes and oh yes more TV and more TV. Gosh I guess I am addicted to the tube. I thought eating 5 or 6 meals a day would be difficult but by the time I am hungry again, it is time to eat again and I am thinking wow where did the time go. I don’t know if I can do it forever but I like it and it is helping me with eating all the time. Eating can be hard when you try to eat healthy especially for a food lover like me and I think I have tried it all. Now let’s get to the food… Yum! Yum!
