Late Meal

Savynaturalista, Naturalista I decided to stay home today my throat is killing me and I just can’t stop coughing. I hope I feel better by tomorrow I have so much to do and being sick can really make everything so much worse, and instead of thinking about all the school work I have gotten myself into this year and the classes I have yet to register for; all I can think about was eating a big juicy in and out burger with french fries animal style. I also wanted ice cream and an almond chocolate bar. My cravings get much worse when I am sick but I have not caved in yet, besides I can barely taste anything so giving in would be pointless. I slept most of the day and now I am starving so I am going to have a big bowl of spicy spinach curry; I just hope my throat does not burn from all the spices.

Flu Juice

savynaturalista, naturalista I decided to leave work early I was coughing hysterically and I just did not want to get anyone sick since everyone was giving me weird looks, and I am not going to be the blame if someone else gets sick so I booked it out of there real fast. I really want to workout and I have not been able to my throat is on fire and I can barely breathe. I am determine to get rid of this bug so I am going to make sure I get a lot of vitamins in me very fast, and the only way I know how to do that is juicing everything that is green and orange. This may be bitter but I am hoping that I able to start my day much better than I did today and yesterday.

Fighting the Flu

savynaturalista, naturalista I think the flu has finally hit me after praying and hoping I would not catch the flu I think I am starting to get most of the symptoms; I could barely move yesterday, I had chills and a mini fever. I really don’t want to go to work today but I am hoping that I don’t get any worse. I really don’t have much of an appetite but I am going to get some vitamin C and fiber that was light and would not be heavy.

More Water

savynaturalista, naturalista Happy Weekend everyone, today is a busy day with cleaning and getting ready to go back to school. Let’s just say I am really going to miss coming home from work and doing absolutely nothing. Last night I had my cheat meal for the week I just could not wait until Saturday I wanted it right away, so we order sushi I had a vegetable role and a few pieces of tempura (no sake); the food was very salty I had trouble sleeping last night my mouth was so dry I kept getting up to get a drink of water. I am going to half to work on cheat meals that are not salty so I won’t have cotton mouth at night.
My 6th goal for the New Year is to drink more water. I bought a bottle that was on sale at target it is a 1.1 liter glass bottle; I have been using it for a couple of days and I realized I am not getting as much water as I thought I was drinking. I am only drinking about half the bottle for the whole day, so my goal for the year is to drink about three a day and hopefully more by the end of the year. I am not a fan of water I did drink fusion water but that task took to much time I am going to just half to learn how to be a fan of water..

Do More Yoga

savynaturalista, naturalista Do more yoga is my fifth goal for the new year, last year I started doing yoga for the first time but I slowly stop going to classes. One of the main reasons I stop going was my budget was getting pretty tight and I just could not afford it, but lately I have been searching online and found some websites that have 20-60 min segments for free. I am really excited to get back to stretching my body again. I also wanted to try and create more recipes on my blog. I am always making something show a pic and never commit to making the recipe; this is one of my side goals for the year is to create most of the recipes I promise to make and never got to.

More Camera Action

savynaturalista, naturalista Getting more personal with my camera is a goal that I want to achieve this year, I was looking at getting a new camera but the one I want is way out of my budget. I would need to save for a few months before I can get a baby like that, so I might as well try and get familiar with the one I have even if it is just a point and shoot. I was thinking of taking more pictures and posting them on my blog not just of my food porn; but lots of other things that I see and do through the day, last year I never took my camera with me and this year I want to change that. I would love to show you some of my adventures and the things I do besides eat food.

Get Moving

savynaturalista,naturalista My third goal for the New Year is to keep moving which is so difficult in the winter months, especially since it is so cold outside and who really wants to get out of bed and deal with the cold air. I will keep myself moving more by walking to the grocery store and start riding my bike to work again. I wanna keep moving this year and this will make it easier for me if I do not have the time for working out.

Healthier Me

savynaturalista,naturalista I decided that I did not want to work out today but I did do a plank and I am still at 40 seconds; I need to really stop looking at the clock because when I do I plop right to the ground once I hit 40. I am going to have a light breakfast today; ever since I have been back to work I have not had much of an appetite. It can be so hard getting back into the groove of things but I hope I will be back to my regular eating habits pretty soon.
My Second Goal for the New Year: I am going to be a healthier me; sometimes when you start a journey to a healthier body, you start to lose weight and then you become obsessed with just losing weight and calories. I think that is what sums up last year for me which stall my weight loss leading to depression and binge eating. I am just going be concern with my health and let everything else fall into place. How do I do that? I am learning and will share my journey with you.

Seven New Year Goals One A Day

savynaturalista,naturalista I am so happy to be going to work today I love a break but I like to be proactive during the day. I must admit I tried to keep up with my healthy habits but I slipped a few times (those darn chips) I don’t feel bad about it but I could have did a better job. I have decided that I would share my seven goals for the New Year; I will share one every day for the whole week.

My First Goal for the New Year is to Smile More Often: I see people with frowns that could use a smile so maybe if I give them a smile they will return the favor. I was once told by someone a lot older than me that just one smile can change your whole day. I hope it changes my whole year :).

Clean Out The Fridge Juice

I finally got to the fridge today and man oh man what a mess; luckily it didn’t take me to long and instead of throwing all my old fruits and vegetables away. I decided to make a yummy healthy drink. This is no Green Concoction but it gave me a kick!
