Fighting the Flu

savynaturalista, naturalista I think the flu has finally hit me after praying and hoping I would not catch the flu I think I am starting to get most of the symptoms; I could barely move yesterday, I had chills and a mini fever. I really don’t want to go to work today but I am hoping that I don’t get any worse. I really don’t have much of an appetite but I am going to get some vitamin C and fiber that was light and would not be heavy.
Question of the day: When you are sick what do you eat?

  1. I hope you feel better quickly! I just finally got over my long cold/bronchitis and it was no fun. When I’m sick I don’t really want anything to eat but I just eat anyways- soup, macaroni and cheese, and lots of water!

      • It so is. Here at home they put large pieces of pak-choi also known as Chinese cabbage which is really good and they serve it soo hot that the steam clears up your stuffiness. I hope you can get it over there if not I am sure a trip to a Caribbean island will do you just fine nothing like a salt water bath to make you feel better 🙂

      • Ha ha ha if I had the money lol that would be great I don’t even have a passport… I was watching a show last night, were they were talking about Jamaica and the Virgin Islands for getaways; after watching those kids try to get coconuts out of the trees I really want to go. Just so I can get me some coconuts.. 🙂

  2. So sorry to hear you are under the weather! I try to be extra careful with the grains and make sure to get yogurt each day. Veggies and fruit over-load with sides of protein.   3. I have a really hard time eating when I’m sick because my appetite usually disappears. I try to pound down as much orange juice as I can for the Vitamin C (even though I’m not a lover of the orange stuff!), and normally eat a lot of toast and drink a lot of tea! Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup is also a must! =)
